“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union …“
Timeless words from a heritage that must endure.
The Heritage Foundation
Every demographic has a heritage. Those who value and honor it are solid in their convictions and often willing to make every effort to protect it.
This attitude resonates with me. As a freedom-loving American who strongly values my nation’s heritage, I am inspired by The Heritage Foundation. They have been putting in the work for over 50 years to champion and preserve this great experiment, the United States of America.
Established in 1973 during the Nixon administration, Heritage took a leading role in the conservative movement of the 1980s.
Their stated mission represents a firm commitment to the American principles established in the original Convention of States.
Heritage’s mission is to formulate and promote public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense.
The Heritage Foundation About Us page
The U.S.A. was founded on what the Framers called First Principles. These are the self-evident truths proclaimed in our Declaration of Independence …
- God-given equality and freedom for all
- Natural and inalienable rights
- Government by consent of the governed
- The right to resist tyranny and to preserve liberty
These First Principles form the bedrock of what The Heritage Foundation seeks to promote for America. Although they are unapologetically conservative, I am inspired by the statement below.
We don’t work on behalf of any special interest or political party, our commitment is to the American people.
The Heritage Foundation About Us page (paraphrased)
The Heritage Foundation advocated for pro-business policies and anti-communism in the early years, but have expanded to include many other social and cultural issues. Heritage is on the front lines fighting for things like school choice, fiscal responsibility, economic prosperity, protecting the unborn, border security, countering international threats, Big Tech accountability, and election integrity.
Something you may have seen floating around various news outlets or social media platforms is Project 2025. This is an initiative organized by The Heritage Foundation.
You can be sure that the main stream media and other leftist entities are distorting the truth about Project 2025.
I strongly encourage you to visit this Web page and educate yourself.
Here are a few of my personal conclusions …
- Radical Left forces have driven the country far from its First Principles
- Our national heritage is at risk of being erased, forgotten
- Winning elections is not enough to reverse course, we need an action plan
- By leveraging the longstanding Mandate for Leadership, a 4-pillar approach is envisioned
- 1 – A Policy Agenda
- 2 – A Presidential Personnel Database
- 3 – A Presidential Administration Academy
- 4 – A 180-day Playbook for the next Administration
The Mandate for Leadership is a massive document, over 900 pages. A quick scan reveals key areas of focus … Defense, Economy, and General Welfare. While I do not agree with everything in this plan, I am inspired and hopeful that it could establish a strong baseline roadmap for us to redeem and preserve our national heritage.
How about you? Are you ready to return to our First Principles? Would you like to reclaim the American heritage that our Ancestors wrestled from tyranny so long ago?
If your answer is yes, would you consider supporting The Heritage Foundation?
Please pray for America.
And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
Daniel 2:21, The Holy Bible, NKJV
